Hey Renaud!
Glad you're digging the content! =)
There are PDFs available for 3 specific courses; the Scarlett Lesson Pack, The Detached Lesson Pack, and the Shake It Off Lesson Pack. These are available by request, as learning full songs would be quite difficult without them! Shoot me an email if you need copies of these transcriptions.
For the remainder of the site, there are no downloadable PDFs. There are 3 main reasons for this, which I've outlined below.
1. Stealing. Unfortunately, free trials with downloadable transcriptions has notoriously invited abuse of the free trial. If the exercises are made available in this format, we couldn't expect anyone to stick around for very long. It would be far too convenient to download everything and cancel your subscription.
2. Redistribution. Downloadable content of any kind is often redistributed on torrent websites, in other private drum schools, and other countries outside the US for profit. All 3 of these things have happened to me personally, and to many other online education platforms.
3. Lack of use. When PDFs have been offered in the past, they were used by a very small portion of my online students. The benefit we were providing to a small number of students came at a very high cost, and it was tough to justify keeping them on the site.
But trust me; I know this sucks. As an educator, I dislike having to withhold any resource from my students that I'm technically capable of offering. I like PDFs as much as the next drummer, and most definitely understand their value.
My goal is to one day have the ability to display PDFs on screen, while also preventing screenshots/downloads. (Yes, even screenshots are a problem, lol.) This task is trickier than it sounds, but I hope to have this kind of functionality in place during 2021 at some point.
With that said, I am open to any and all suggestions regarding PDFs, and the best way we can deliver them safely and responsibly. If you or anyone reading has input on this topic, feel free to share; I'm all ears! =)
